Pictures from our very first Amazing Achiever Assembly last week for the Junior children. Congratulations to all children. More achievers this Thursday. Please see on Head's page
After a long and democratic process our rabbits finally have names:
Floppy (the grey/black fur) and Hoppy (the brown fur).
Both our furry additions have settled in nicely and are much loved by all the children (and the staff!!).
Congratulations to all of the children who entered the School Council election process. We announced the elected members during a whole school assembly. Our School Council for 2016-2017 is:
Y1: Elliot and Lily.
Y2: Rohan, Libby and Serennah.
Y3: Joshua and Amelie.
Y4: Thomas R and Eleanor.
Y5: James and Louis.
Y6: Oscar, Olivia, Henry and Isabelle.
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday 21st September.
It was lovely seeing all our children and all have settled in so well into their new classes. We also welcomed 5 new children- who seemed to have a great day. Reception start their induction half days on Wednesday 7th September.
We have 2 new members of our team- 2 lovely Netherland Dwarf rabbits. They are in the space we had the ducklings. They are very cute and cuddly and are waiting for names so get your thinking caps on.
Welcome back everybody. We have had a great start to our school year apart from one blip yesterday which was nothing to do with our lovely children.
At the end of the day (Monday 5th) 2 parents parked their cars completely blocking a resident's drive way. The resident is understandably angry and has photographic evidence which they are sending to the police. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE park considerately or better still park a short distance - if you have to bring your car - and walk.
What a great year we have had! Thank you to all parents and carers for their support this year. We are sending up amazing pupils to the High Schools. Go onto the Wall of Fame to see our names for this 1/2 term and our 100% attenders. They are to be found on the Head teacher's page. Well done to all.
Thank you for all the amazing comments in the reports. It is not too late to send them in for copying. The reports were a joy to read and our children have done so well. The Y6 results were also very strong despite all the changes to the tests.
Also thank you to our Y6 leavers and parents/ family. You raised £108.11 at the Leavers Show. We are sending this amount to Francis House.
I have attached some information about clubs available during the school holidays.

Something strange is happening at Moorfield. A magic portal has appeared!! Where does it lead? What can this exciting phenomenon be?
We are out of uniform all this week as we are doing a lot of our learning outside. Children need to be dressed for the outdoors in suitable clothes such as trackies or joggers and sweatshirts- not their best party clothes. Trainers are fine. Thankyou
